Last year was definitely not a year to be remembered. That doesn’t mean this year needs to be cancelled as well. Restaurants have opened up, people have started stepping out - It’s a new day, a new world and we are feeling good. So let’s gear up for the next music festival ‘cause what’s Sweden without music and parties! The music festivals are back and this time they are bigger and better. So how is it that you don’t have your outfits planned yet?
"Go all out with your short summer dresses, linen shirts and shorts. We know how great it would feel not to be wearing four layers of clothing for a change."
July is hot and so we say - the lesser the better. Summer is only here for a bit so why not make the most of it, right? Go all out with your short summer dresses, linen shirts and shorts. We know how great it would feel not to be wearing four layers of clothing for a change. But remember whatever you sport has a high risk of getting spoiled with all that beer, sweat, and dust. Also, given how unpredictable our weather is, carrying an extra cover-up is nothing but pure wisdom.
Talking about footwear, you don’t want to miss out on anything just ‘cause your shoes were uncomfortable, right? So preferably go for shoes or sneakers or boots. Unless you plan to chill only at the VIP area you’ll have a lot of dancing, waiting in queues and running around to do.
P.S: There’s no better time to show off your sneaker collection than this.
Girls make sure you go low key with the make-up cause we don’t want it all dripping by the end of the day. Sunscreens and chapsticks are mandatory for your sling-ons. Since the base ball caps and bucket hats are a huge trend, wearing one to actually protect you from the sun wouldn't be a bad idea at all. Keeping your outfits basic and adding accessories to up your fashion game is actually a smart move. Folks with long hair better switch to ponytails or braids ‘cause it’s going to be a long day. The best way to carry your stuff is to wear a fanny pack or a bum-bag. Rule number one at a music festival - keep your hands free to get that groove going.
Buying something that’s not going to see daylight again is something we don’t want to do. So shop smart. But remember not to play it too safe as well, ‘cause it’s a music fest after all. Most artists are seen curating outfits with so much more detail than the music they make - so let’s remember what’s important here.
